Yu Zhang
Yu received her B.S. in Biology from Anhui University (2018) and Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from Peking University (2023).
During her graduate research in Dr. Zhixing Chen’s lab, she first worked on antibody engineering and explored the geometric factors’ effects of bispecific antibodies on their mediated T-cell efficacies. After that, she expanded her interest in DNA damage modification and developed a high-resolution sequencing method for elucidating gene expression regulation. As a postdoc in Zhu’s lab, Yu expects to develop multi-omics techniques at the single-cell level and further explore the biological impacts of DNA damage, especially in age-related diseases.
