Join us!

We are looking for talented scientists from all levels (not limited to the list below) to join our team. If you are excited about developing single-cell epigenomics technologies, making discoveries about gene regulation in development and diseases, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Areas of current interest includes:

• Technology development in single-cell multiomics
• Epigenetics regulation of normal development and diseases
• Functional impacts of DNA damages

Below is the list of the specific positions and the application procedure.

We are looking for multiple motivated postdoctoral research associates interested in developing and applying cutting-edge single-cell genomics tools to dissect the molecular logic controlling cell fates. We focused on both development of cutting-edge genomic technologies for multimodal single-cell analysis and applying these technologies to study the combined effects of multiple regulatory layers in cell fate specification and maintenance during development, diseases, and cancer. The lab is located at the New York Genome Center (lower Manhattan) and the Department of Physiology and Biophysics and Institute for Computational Biomedicine at Weill Cornell Medicine (upper east side). We will have extensive collaborations with investigators from these institutions.

Postdoctoral Research Associate (Computational Biology)

• Ph.D. (or about to obtain a Ph.D. degree) in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, or related fields;
• Research experiences in analyzing single-cell genomics data required.
• Candidates with a strong interest in developing both computational and experimental skills are highly encouraged;
• Experiences in developmental biology, cancer genetics, or neuroscience are preferred;
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit are required.

If interested, please include the following items with your application: (1) a CV with a list of publications, (2) a brief summary of your research interests, and (3) a list of three references and their contact information and send to czhu@nygenome.org.

Graduate Students

We’re actively recruiting graduate students, especially for projects related to Epigenomics and Single-cell Genomics. Please contact me if you are interested in a rotation.

Thank you for your interest in our lab!
