Robert Seow Tan is a Research Associate in the Zhu Lab. He received a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Cell and Molecular Biotechnology) and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours) at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute in Melbourne, Australia.

He became interested in high-throughput sequencing as an undergraduate due to the sheer volume and resolution that these technologies offered to researchers, allowing unprecedented insights into human biology. In Zhu Lab, he is interested in the development of these single-cell multiomics techniques that will allow us to make significant discoveries and solve human diseases.
