Nivedita Attada is a Research Associate in the Zhu Lab. She received a B.S. in Global Disease Biology (research focus in Bioinformatics) and B.S. in Cognitive Science (with a computational emphasis) at the University of California, Davis. 

Her interest in genetics stems from her undergraduate research project in bioinformatics. Her research project focused on intron mediated enhancement and finding an algorithm to best predict gene expression. In the Zhu Lab, Nivedita will develop single-cell genomics technologies to study gene regulation programs during cell differentiation.
